Blockchain technology promised to revolutionize many aspects of our daily lives, including the way we travel. However, this technology has not just been implemented. Here’s what it is and what impact it can have on the tourism industry. <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    When we talk about blockchain often, the first thing that comes to mind is cryptocurrencies or digital money. However, blockchain is much more than this, it is already a technology that publicly stores all transactions that are produced by a given network. The records are encrypted and grouped into blocks that form a string, hence the blockchain or blockchain name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Blockhain technology has many advantages that make it transferable to different sectors because of its persistence in data, immutability in the information process and decentralization of information control. Therefore, it makes it a high-security technology.

    The records are encrypted and grouped into blocks that form a string, hence the blockchain or blockchain name. <\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

    Blockchain and tourism have the potential to become a very advantageous combination and this technology can bring security and transparency at certain key points. For example, when a travel agency makes transportation and accommodation reservations for its customers and sends its data to the different companies for verification.
